Delta Airlines has purchased
their own oil refinery
to get out from under the thumb of speculators like GS and have more control over their own fuel prices. Bravo to them for thinking ahead:

But doesn't most of the speculation happen on the crude oil side? Delta still has to buy crude to feed their refinery.
