The only reason I can think of is that the browser didn't download the images from the server due to extream load on the server. I'm experiencing some server problems and opened a support ticket with my hosting company. Similar for me. Chrome 18.0.1025.151, Mac OS 10.6.8. I see the 'exit' sign and the music volume icons, but the screen is otherwise blank.

I'm running that exact config and it worked for me.
