You are aware that Truth is an absolute defense against libel, right? TrustCor would have to prove that WaPo acted with actual malice to get anywhere with a suit.

Depends. The goal of a lawsuit isn't always to win the lawsuit; sometimes it's to generate publicity (and will then be quietly withdrawn later).
