I don't value my time too highly, but I certainly do value it enough to not want to put in the grunt work needed to work with the APIs [0] that my smart thermostat provides. This is why I started paying the $2/mo fee too.

There are a few integrations I use frequently, which I could do the integration myself, but it'd take a good weekend of my time to do them properly.

I'll rather pay the $24/year, since I value my free time more than that.
