Depends on your usecase. If you try to connect it to something like a battery or a generator, USB C is definitely a downgrade.

I guess that's true, but many projects I see use USB power banks for arduinos and I don't think this is too different.

The 4GB Jetson will run off a micro-usb port (for power banks) OR the barrel adapter.

4gb one over micro-usb real needs to be in 5w mode disabling 2/4 cpus. Running off usb-c at 15w where I can use all 4 is a big improvement for convinience for me.
