you should really avoid using rails 3.0.4 now. there is a security bug in rails 3.0.4. it is recommended to upgraded it to rails 3.0.5.

Pretty sure the bulk of the security updates were part of the 3.0.4 update, unless you mean this one which I didn't think was that big of a deal.
