I am working on a project to parse an image which then synthesizes an audio representation which retains all the information of the source image ... next step is to parse live video to enable people to hear what others see ... shoot me an email as well ... its not specific to dev tools yet could parley into a general enabler ... How would seeing through sound be better than seeing through touch? Like with http://www.radiolab.org/story/seeing-tongues/
