Smarter to realize how the world actually works. Smart enough to reason through the “why,” solve problems, and stick with them instead of just letting them go. But thinking too much can also make it easy to overthink.
I am considered smart and yes I am unhappy from very young age. Mostly due to my family situation too but still: I don't see many kids realized unfair the world is at 6.
I cannot think of any that so concentrated. Best place to me is r/localllama on reddit. Unsloth website and twitter posts is a good place too (usually in localllama too).
What is important or right today might not be tomorrow. The problem that you think today did not exist at the moment of decision. Even if you turn back time, you would likely do the same (unless with today knowledge). Why resent?
Yes, agree. At first I still use pyenv, or mise to manage python version, now that uv does that, uv is the only tool I need for everything in Python env.
Quite sad to see devs nowadays has lost abilities to self-host. I know it can be overwhelming with Linux, networking, db, backup, hardware load.... However, it's not rocket science!
