At this point if you have something interest to say and you can’t put it in a blog then I guess I just won’t read it. I stopped using Twitter before it started calling itself X because Tech Twitter was always beefing over something stupid and the negativity was bumming me out. I never joined alternatives because I imagine folks are just beefing over there trying to farm engagement from their takes.

If it makes you feel any better, even with the app most of the time these links don’t work (on iOS). It prompts with “open in app store” with 80% probability and the link is unviewable.

Yeah, there's a lot here that is inaccurate to both the tv show and the books. There are no walls around the stairs at most levels. It also seems to depict silo 17 as mostly flooded, when it was only the lower 30 floors.

Popping into a TUI from an existing terminal session to quickly do something without lifting my hand is the only reason I use and prefer a TUI.

If I have to open a browser which has, frankly mediocre, kb nav, then I'd rather it just be a GUI.

For once I half agree with apple when they say its less secure, as apple-to-google comms are not E2EE like they are for google-to-google. While that is fixable with a hack its still a hack, not part of the protocol.

How do you separate a genuine 2 star review between a 2 star review of someone who got fired with cause. How do you filter HR teams without undue burdon on volunteered info from former/current employees.
