This is a great example of LLM feedback loops. Anthropic's site uses scroll fade, Claude's training data includes Anthropic's site, Claude recommends scroll fade to users, those sites become future training data. The web converges on one aesthetic and nobody remembers choosing it.


Later never comes" is true, but the fix isn't to optimize early, it's to write code simple enough that optimization is easy when later finally does come. That's what Rule 5 is really about. Get the data structures right and the rest is tractable.


This is really cool, I think the idea here is fantastic!


Because the discovery is transitive. When you wander, it fetches another console's wander.js and picks from their pages, so you're not just exploring one person's list, you're hopping across a graph of curated lists. A static link page can't necessarily do that.
