To me that's said more about Instagram than the feasibility of building an app for a tablet.

Didn't have timers for one, or the same level of support around sockets.

Love my FCB1010. Absolute beast that's no worse for wear after 20 years and countless moves.

If only the Steam Frame had a decent pass through mode.

I'd love it if Siri does, but I don't expect big corps to keep supporting MCP since MCP gives so much control to the end user, can't charge for eg. Google integration when someone can just add an MCP to handle it.

Yes even ChatGPT locked MCP support behind plus plans for a while.

I tried "turn off the lights in [room a] and [room b]" in the new Siri app and rather than Siri saying they can't do compound commands they just turned off the lights in one of the two rooms listed.

So, progress?

Any agent with the Home Assistant MCP hooked up can do it fine.

I've been using the web client for over a year and that hasn't been the case the whole time, gallery view is an option.

Well this was back in COVID, sometime fresh after the always-open-port news had surfaced. Can easily believe the experience has been improved since then.

There's one that at least works fairly well, but it's paid. aSPICE Pro.

I found this, but I've not tested it. https://github.com/Ching367436/spice-mac

How do you reconcile ...

> I hate when UI teams constantly redesign perfectly fine software

... with ...

> Having the UI layer completely abstracted from pre-written code and dynamically generated "on the fly" based on the context of the user is, I believe, the future

In this scenario there's still no guarantee that the UI won't randomly change. There's no guarantee that the ui generated for the user will be the same visit to visit.

Ever since I learned about full story / datadog RUM I've been writing my replies in a notes app then copy and pasting back in the browser

Yeah, it's infuriating.
